Our purpose is to "UNify Individuals Through Example" (UNITE) For the Kingdom of God.
 
     We live to REACH the families of Abilene and elsewhere, that throught God, we would TOUCH their lives, to be able to GRASP and HOLD those who are hurt or wounded and to restore them to God's Kingdom.  The Word of God and the ways of God must be established in our lives in order that the family may flourish and be a blessing to others in this hour.
 
     We, as a congregation, are unified in following the example of Jesus Christ.  His vision for the Church as stated in Luke 4:18-19: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord."
 
God has equipped us to accomplish this in that we have become LIVELY STONES (1 Peter 2:4-5).  Jesus Christ also builds you up as a lively stone, a spiritual house, of a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifice acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
